Letter: Vote with eye on the future

Very soon, hopefully, all legally registered voters will elect the next U.S. president.

As a veteran, I swore an enlistment oath and allegiance to defend and protect the U.S. Constitution from all enemies and, in essence, preserve the rights of its citizens.

Today, there is and has been a progressive movement to dismantle and “interpret” our laws and constitutional government. Globalism is threatening nationalism via an “open borders” policy espoused by the administration to the detriment of our citizen-society; denial is futile.

Witnessing the disintegration of European sovereignty awash with an immigration crisis foreshadows a social calamity, and hidden unbridled terrorist threat. Open-border policy is in defiance of national security and our laws. Conversely, Mexico maintains a strict and formalized entry policy.

This is but one of many issues facing the American electorate.

Vote Nov. 8 with vision for the future of your grandchildren and their children; they will inherit the future.
