Letter: Trump’s character not a pretty sight

If Donald Trump’s primary qualification to be president is that he’s outside of the political establishment, then that qualifies Pat Sajak to be president. If generating jobs is his main selling point, let’s talk to the people he has put out of work and didn’t pay for work already done with his failed projects and bankruptcies. A recent writer says, “Don’t look at Trump’s personality.” Really?

Shall we ignore his hair-trigger anger, his narcissism and unfamiliarity with the truth, his bigotry and prejudices? How about his lack of general knowledge of world issues? Not important? His platform? “You’re gonna be really happy. Believe me.”

Hillary Clinton has a wealth of knowledge about world affairs, and the experience to match. Frankly, the fact that she has been questioned and investigated at every turn, and never prosecuted or found guilty of anything in spite of multiple attempts by high-ranking “establishment” committees makes her the most-vetted candidate we’ve ever had the opportunity to vote for. Her behavior under fire has been exemplary, remarkable, admirable. Trump falls apart at the slightest perception of insult or question about past behavior.

Hillary has worked for the poor, the children, the marginalized all her adult life. Donald has worked for Donald. Hillary has striven to make life better for people who had no voice. Donald has striven to make life better for Donald. Hillary made the choice to work on her marriage under an unforgiving spotlight. Donald has not. Her character has been demonstrated. So has his.
