Letter: Vote ‘no’ on referendums

This election is one of the most important ones in years.

The next president will determine the next 50 or so, years. There is a possibility that in the next four years, at least one and as many as three Supreme Court justices may be appointed. It is important that none of these bring their religious agendas to the court. We are supposed to be a religiously blind country. Look up “ Founding Fathers on religion.”

Another important issue is the election of new Beaufort County Board of Education members. We need new members who will stand up for the children, teachers and residents of Beaufort County. We have three referendum questions as well. Read them entirely. Look for the clinkers in each — an arts venue at a cost of $ 6.2 million, for starters. Vote “no” to all the questions. They are geared toward scammers, shakers and takers.
