Letter: Go to the polls informed
Your paper’s coverage on Oct. 30 of the Beaufort County school board races should certainly be helpful to voters in Districts 6 and 9 whose votes will be important, not just for their districts but also for the future of education throughout the county.
Additional information about the six candidates is provided in a candidate questionnaire assembled by the League of Women Voters of Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Area. It is available in the Voter Service and Elections Section of the League’s website, lwvhhi.org. Information on the three referenda on the Nov. 8 ballot in Beaufort County and other information, including how to vote absentee, are also available on that site.
The League urges voters to be informed and to vote on Nov. 8 or by absentee ballot.
