Letter: Political loons abusing the weak

She approached security with the slow, steady gait of an 89-year-old great-grandmother. The TSA agents eyed her warily, knowing that somewhere concealed on that toddling, 102-pound frame they would find the device that would carry a plane load of innocents to their death.

The scanner wasn’t enough. And although she needed help down the ramp of the scanner, they descended on her with the tenacity of a 300-pound lion attacking a lame gazelle.

Poked, prodded, turned to the point of stumbling, they did everything but a cavity search. This is the way our government treated my mother-in-law and the way they treat senior American citizens every day.

In the name of political correctness we allow the political loons to abuse the weakness in our society while ignoring the threat. Let’s go vote for more of these brilliant, experienced, incompetents.
