Letter: New entry for best inventions

Ask almost anyone what were some of the neatest and most functional inventions of the 20th century, and you’ll probably get a lot of responses like: Teflon, duct tape, WD-40, Post-its and Velcro.

But can you imagine what our lovely Beaufort County would be look like if someone hadn’t come up with the chainsaw?
