Letter: Tree cutters should remove the logs
Before the storm hit, if a tree contractor cut down a tree, they would cut it up and haul it off.
Why is it that they now get to cut it down and let it lie by the road?
It should not be at our “expense” (via tax dollars) that we end up paying for what they should have removed in the first place.
Whose “birdbrain” idea was it to tell them that it would be OK for them to just leave all these big logs by the road? Dumb idea. These logging companies need to haul off what they cut down, period.
