Letter: Hilton Head firefighters bring tears
OK, I admit to being 80.
So I’m out dragging branches down to the street in Hilton Head Plantation and a big fire truck pulls up and asks if I need any help. Three guys hop out, one with a chain saw. Half an hour later our driveway is cleared of two major trees that fell across it — trees now cut into 4-foot lengths and rolled to the side. Driveway is clear. Message to them: “This is why we live here.”
Happiness tears feel very good right now. Hope you can be so fortunate.
