Thank you: From CODA for ‘My Sister’s Keeper’
October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and our fourth annual fundraiser, “My Sister’s Keeper” which supports CODA and the many services it provides to victims of domestic abuse, was held on Sunday afternoon, Oct, 2 in Bluffton. “My Sister’s Keeper” was a wonderful success and heartfelt gratitude goes out to the many volunteers whose efforts made it so amazing, and the hundreds of attendees whose presence made it possible.
We are blessed to live in one of the most beautiful areas in the world, but the true beauty of our community doesn’t come from the moss-draped oaks or gently swaying palmettos, it comes from the generous spirits and compassionate hearts of those who give so freely of themselves.
For each invitation that was addressed, every delectable morsel that was served, every piece of greenery that was strategically placed, every item that was donated and every note of music that drifted through the air, thank you for a contributing to a fabulous event.
With a full heart, I am respectfully yours,
Beth Young
