Letter: Trump will con taxpayers

A former New York mayor had Donald Trump pegged. He’s a con artist. All of his cheated investors and unpaid employees can testify to that. So, why run for president?

After four bankruptcies, it must be getting hard to find suckers.

A vote for Trump is a vote for a wall with Mexico. Independent estimates expect a $20 billion cost. Mexico won’t pay for it, so who is left? The American taxpayers will get the bill.

Notice how all of Trump’s companies have his name in big letters? Expect to see TRUMP Construction get the assignment to build the wall. Soon after the company gets the $20 billion, true to history, it will declare bankruptcy. Trump’s typical reaction will be, “It wasn’t so bad. I came away with $20 billion!” And when the American taxpayers yell “fraud,” you’ll get Trump’s standard answer of “I didn’t do anything illegal.”

Even if Trump doesn’t get elected, he has solicited a loyal following, many of whom will be foolish enough to invest with him. I’m sure he will find a place in the history books as the greatest con artist of all time.
