Letter: At least Trump could be impeached
Dear voter of South Carolina, I want to share with you why I plan to vote for Donald Trump.
First, I do not have any illusion about him actually being a great, or even a good leader. He is not. In fact, he sometimes seems to be a potential nightmare.
So, why am I going to vote for him? Well, there are two reasons: first, I believe that Hillary Clinton has fundamentally embraced causes that are essentially evil — that she has done so at a personal level through an avaricious use of her office for personal enrichment — and that she has done so in the political realm by forming alliances with those who have little regard for human life, liberty, or the right to property. I believe that a President Clinton, especially with a Democratic Congress would be an absolute disaster for The United States of America.
My second reason for supporting Trump is that I believe he would either have a slim Republican Congress or else Democratic control of at least one of the Houses. I believe that if Trump does some of the evil things of which he is very capable, that there are enough votes in Congress to impeach him. The Democrats can be counted on to vote against him, and he has enough enemies in the Republican Party to meet the constitutional threshold.
So whereas both are bad choices, there is some prospect that Trump could be impeached, but none for Clinton.
