Letter: What it takes for my vote

Since this is an election year, I have received many emails and Facebook posts and I would like to state where I am with the election. I no longer want to take any position on Hillary or Donald. What I do want to support is the party that has put forth a platform to solve some of the major problems facing all Americans:

▪  Wants to fill the Supreme Court vacancy.

▪  Believes we need to take steps to deal with global warming.

▪  Wants to level the playing field for all through needed changes in the tax code.

▪  Wants to deal with immigration reform.

▪  Is interested in fixing our infrastructure.

▪  Will protect Social Security and Medicare and find ways to extend medical coverage to all.

▪  Makes education affordable and available to all.

▪  Will minimize special interests.

▪  Reforms Congress, and the ethics, income and benefits of members.

▪  Will move the country forward.
