Who would you suspect if your trash was stolen?

A Shell Point woman notified the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office last week that her trash can was missing.

She called the trash company, family and friends asking if they took the can, but no one claimed taking it.

While the trash was worthless, the cost of replacing the 50-gallon green Waste Management trash bin is $81, the report states.

The can was first noticed missing on Wednesday, the report states.
