Latest update from the National Hurricane Center on Post Tropical Cyclone Emilia for Thursday, Aug 8

The post-tropical cyclone system was last addressed in a final advisory by the National Hurricane Center at 11 pm Thursday. Emilia has lost momentum and has regressed from a tropical storm to a post-tropical cyclone, with winds of 35 miles per hour.
Post Tropical Cyclone Emilia is 980 miles west of the Southern Tip of Baja California, with maximum sustained wind of 35 mph. It’s moving 12 mph to the west-northwest.
"Additional weakening is forecast, and the post-tropical remnant low is expected to dissipate by the end of this weekend." meteorologists state.
