At 5 pm Friday, the National Hurricane Center released the final advisory for the post-tropical cyclone system. Bud has reached new lows of intensity and has downgraded from a tropical storm to a post-tropical cyclone.

Post Tropical Cyclone Bud is 730 miles west-southwest of the Southern Tip of Baja California, with maximum sustained wind of 35 mph. It’s moving 10 mph to the west.

"Further weakening is expected, and the system is forecast to dissipate by Sunday." forecasters wrote.
