At 5 am Monday, the National Hurricane Center released the final advisory for the remnant system. Cindy has lost strength and has downgraded from a tropical storm to a remnant with sustained winds of 40 miles per hour.

Remnants of Cindy are 375 miles north-northeast of the Northern Leeward Islands, with maximum sustained wind of 40 mph. It’s moving 14 mph to the northwest.
