Repair work to begin on Hilton Head park damaged by hurricane

Repair work is set to start on Hurricane Matthew damage to Hilton Head Island’s Rowing and Sailing Center.

Nix Construction has been contracted by the town to repair the pier and floating dock at the center, located in Squire Pope Community Park, according to a town release.

Work will start Tuesday and will be finished no later than June 20, the release said.
