Have hurricane damage? Haven’t registered with FEMA? You’re running out of time
Local residents and business owners who have costs related to Hurricane Matthew damage have less than two weeks to register with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and submit disaster loan applications to the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The last day to register for federal disaster assistance and small business disaster loans is Dec. 13, according to a Beaufort County news release.
You can find more information and register online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by phone at 800-621-3362. The toll-free lines are open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week until further notice, the release said.
