Palmetto Animal League benefit planned

Those looking to help out pets following Hurricane Matthew will be rewarded with a free Cranford Hollow concert and chance to win prizes.

Subaru of Hilton Head is inviting the public to a event to benefit Palmetto Animal League Thursday, Oct. 27.

It will be held at 111 Drivers Way in Hardeeville from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Those attending are asked to bring cash, Staples and Tractor Supply gift cards, cat toys, Friskies wet food, liquid dish detergent, scratching posts and trash bags.

Attendees also will have a chance to win kayaks along with beach cruiser bicycles.
