A few kids found something to smile about after Hurricane Matthew
Sunday morning, a young brother and sister played at the foot of a sand dune created overnight by Hurricane Matthew.
The wall of sand, just outside Disney's Beach Club and Villamere in Palmetto Dunes, stood eight-feet high in parts.
The kids climbed on the dune, punched at the still-wet sand, and dug at it base. They were the only people on the beach.
Still, above them was one of the worst signs of structural damage that reporters noted Sunday: a corner of roof at Captains Walk torn away by the wind.
