Air quality alert active for Northern Lancaster and Southern Lancaster until Friday evening

On Friday at 2:50 p.m. an air quality alert was reported by the NWS Columbia SC in effect until 8 p.m. for Northern Lancaster and Southern Lancaster.

"The South Carolina Department of Environmental Services has issued a Code Orange Ozone Action Day for the Catawba region of South Carolina," according to the NWS.

This alert is in effect until 8 p.m.
