Air quality alert in place for Northern Lancaster and Southern Lancaster Friday

On Thursday at 3:32 p.m. an air quality alert was reported by the NWS Columbia SC in effect until Friday at 8 p.m. for Northern Lancaster and Southern Lancaster.

"The South Carolina Department of Environmental Services has issued a Code Orange Ozone Action Day for the Catawba region of South Carolina," explains the NWS.

This alert is in effect until Friday at 8 p.m.
