A heat advisory was issued by the NWS Wilmington NC on Thursday at 1:36 a.m. valid between noon and 8 p.m. The advisory is for Inland Georgetown, Conway and Myrtle Beach area.
The NWS informs, "Heat index values up to 107 degrees expected."
"Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses," comments the NWS.
This advisory is in effect until 8 p.m.
