Patchy fog is expected to linger in Lowcountry skies Wednesday morning, according to an advisory from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
Fog could be dense in Beaufort, Jasper and Chatham County skies, the advisory said, impacting visibility on roadways, especially bridges over waterways.
Skies are expected to be foggy until around 10:45 a.m., and drivers should slow down and leave extra distance ahead of them in case they need to stop suddenly, the sheriff’s office said.
