SC DOT: 561 roads, 172 bridges remain closed after flooding
Among the key stats in the SC Department of Transportation's 3 p.m. report today on the state of South Carolina's infrastructure following a catastrophic rain event is that 75 miles of Interstate 95 remain closed, between mile markers 86 and 160.
In all, 561 roads, including 172 bridges, remain closed because of obstructions or damage.
The report, which is embedded in its entirety below, also says that as of 3 p.m. 1,113 maintenance workers are actively working on flood-related tasks.
