Thomas Ravenel reports attack in Charleston bar
Reality TV star and former state treasurer Thomas Ravenel was reportedly assaulted in a Charleston bar last week, according to the Charleston City Paper.
Ravenel is known for his role on Bravo's "Southern Charm" and his failed Senate run in 2014. He resigned as South Carolina treasurer in 2007 after he was indicted on federal drug charges. He was found guilty and sentenced to 10 months in prison in 2008.
The 53-year-old said he was head-butted by a man who was "making derogatory statements" to him.
No charges were filed.
