Richland County Sheriff’s Department looking for armed robbery suspect caught on video
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect, wanted for armed robbery and caught on surveillance video.
The suspect entered an Xpress Mart/ Shell Gas Station at 7441 Parklane Road in an area between I-20 and I-77 northeast of Columbia shortly before 11 p.m. July 20, pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money, Sheriff Leon Lott said in a statement released Thursday.
The robber stole cash from the business then fled on foot, Lott said.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a white T-shirt, and a blue bandana covering his face.
