Clemson among best at producing 1st round NFL draft picks the last 8 years. Here’s where it ranks
With the Super Bowl finishing up the NFL season Sunday night with a close game and a win from the Kansas City Chiefs by just three points, many fans of the sport are now looking forward to the next draft.
The 2023 NFL draft will be held between April 27-29.
Following last year’s draft, Clemson reportedly is ranked as the fourth highest university in the country for its total number of first-round draft picks produced between the years 2014-2022.
Between this time frame, this university produced a total of 13 first-round NFL draft picks, according to OLBG, an online sports betting community.
Last year, Clemson was ranked 13th in the Final AP Poll following the 2022 season.

According to the data found by OLBG, the University of Alabama has a claim to having the most amount of first-round draft picks in this time frame and has had a large influence on the NFL. The school has had a total of 80 players drafted by the NFL during drafts since 2014.
Research from the data gathered also reported that the University of Georgia has produced the most philanthropic players. The university’s program had collected four awards for philanthropy during the duration of the given timeline.
In addition, LSU displayed the biggest total of combined pro-bowl, all-pro and all-rookie appearances per player drafted and the most super bowl wins in the given period, according to OLBG.
However, Ohio State football alumni had 19 all-pro appearances between 2014-2022, which was the biggest total from all other teams.
