No permits needed to carry a gun in public? That’s close to happening in South Carolina

On a 64-46 vote, the S.C. House of Representatives passed a bill this week that would allow the carrying of firearms without a permit. If the bill becomes law, South Carolina would be one of 11 states to allow permit-less carry.

As the vote heads to the Senate, we asked our Facebook fans what they thought of the state potentially doing away with firearm permits.
