Publix recalls baby food from all stores. The lead content might be too high

Publix recalled pouches of Greenwise brand baby food from all 1,404 stores in the company’s eight-state chain after routine sampling testing said the pouches might be “contaminated with elevated levels of lead.”

That’s from Publix’s recall announcement, which the chain posted to its website on Friday.

This covers 4-ounce pouches of GreenWise Pear, Kiwi, Spinach & Pea Baby Food with a best by date of 11/1/2025. Bowman Andros made the baby food for Publix.
