Two kinds of chocolate bars recalled after 12 people found stones in the candy
The third not-food-in-your-food recall of the week comes after at least a dozen customers got no satisfaction from their chocolate bars because of the stones inside.
So, New York company Tony’s Chocolonely recalled of four lots of its Everything Bar and three lots of its Dark Almond Sea Salt Bar, each sold online and in stores nationwide. The bars were distributed to stores from Feb. 7 through March 24.
Distribution of the products began Feb. 7, 2025, and ended March 24, 2025.
The company recall notice said 12 customers found small stones in chocolate bars that weren’t “filtered during third-party almond harvesting and the almond processing process. All complaints occurred outside of the United States and Canada, and no injuries were reported.”
Recalled Everything Bar lot Nos. are 4327, 4330, 4331 and M4331, all with best by Nov. 26, 2025.
Recalled Dark Chocolate Almond Sea Salt lot Nos. are 163094 with a best by date of April 2, 2026; and 162634 and M162634 with a best by date of Feb. 28, 2026.

If you have one of these recalled bars, return it to the store for a refund or trash it deep enough that curious pets can’t get to it.
