Bensch, Covert to face off in Beaufort County Council District 7 candidate forum

Incumbent Beaufort County Councilwoman Cynthia Bensch and challenger Mike Covert are scheduled to participate in a candidate forum at 5:45 p.m. May 11 at the Rose Hill Golf Club clubhouse, 4 Clubhouse Dr., Bluffton.

The candidates are vying for the District 7 council seat.

The event, hosted by the Greater Bluffton Republican Club, is open to the public.
