Bensch, Covert to square off in Beaufort County Council candidate forum

Incumbent Beaufort County Councilwoman Cynthia Bensch will join District 7 challenger Mike Covert in an upcoming candidate forum.

The event, hosted by the Greater Bluffton Republican Club, is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. May 11 at the Rose Hill Golf Club, 4 Clubhouse Dr., Bluffton.

The candidates, both Republicans, will square off in the primary election June 14.
