Free rides to Bluffton DMV offered to Hilton Head Island residents

American Legion Post 49 and the Military Officers Association of America-Hilton Head Island will provide transportation for any Hilton Head Island resident to the S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles location in Bluffton to obtain government issued photo identification.

A government issued photo identification card is required to register and vote in the upcoming presidential election.

Interested Hilton Head Island residents should call First Presbyterian Church of Hilton Head at 843-681-3696. Provide your name, address, and phone number.

First Presbyterian Church will then contact American Legion Post 49 and MOAA-Hilton Head and a representative from those organizations will arrange transportation.

This service will be provided free of charge until the presidential election in November.
