Progressive forum set Saturday

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Lowcountry will hold the Progressive Issues Forum "Working for Justice, Love, and Tolerance" from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, at 110 Malphrus Rod, Bluffton.

Speakers include Lecia Brooks, outreach director at the Southern Poverty Law Center; Imam Maajid Ali of the Masjid Jihad Mosque in Savannah; and Alyssa Miller, director of public affairs at Planned Parenthood of the South Atlantic.

Topics will include their organization's battle against hatred, bigotry and discrimination.

Admission is free and seating is limited to 150. Light refreshments will be served.
