What does a Trump White House mean for S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley? Lowcountry readers react to meeting

It was in March that then-presidential candidate Donald Trump tweeted that S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley was an embarassment. Haley responded with a simple, “Bless your heart.”

Fast forward to November and President-elect Trump is in the process of creating his leadership team in Washington. Haley met with Trump Thursday at Trump Tower and while few details have emerged from the meeting, she is said to be on a list of candidates for Trump’s Secretary of State role.

Would Haley be a good fit for a federal position? Would we hate to see her go or love to see her leave? Our Facebook fans had varied opinions. Here’s a look at that response.
