Hilton Head Republican group to host schools, county leaders

The Hilton Head Island 1st Monday Republican Lunch Group will meet at noon on Monday, Aug. 1 at Aunt Chilada’s restaurant, 69 Pope Ave., Hilton Head Island.

The featured speakers will be Beaufort County School District Superintendent Jeff Moss and Beaufort County Councilman Stu Rodman.

Both will speak about the upcoming county and school district’s respective sales tax increase proposals, which will go before voters for approval in November.

Reservations are not required and lunch is $10.
