A Smyrna family was capturing Blue Angels practice flights June 2, 2016, as the elite flying squadron prepared for the June 3 Smyrna Air Show. They captured the wreck of one of the F/A-18 jets, flown by Marine Capt. Jeff Kuss. Kuss was killed in the crash. There were no other injuries.
