KFC brings ‘international hit’ to US for the first time. Here’s when you can get it
A KFC fan favorite offered in restaurants around the world will soon debut in the U.S.
The Chizza arrives at participating KFC restaurants for a limited time starting Monday, Feb. 26, the Kentucky-based chicken chain said in a news release.
The fried chicken and pizza mashup is made with two fried chicken filets topped with marinara sauce, melted mozzarella cheese and pepperoni, according to a product description.
Introduced in the Philippines in 2015, the Chizza went on to become an “international hit,” KFC said. It has since been offered in multiple countries including Korea, India, Mexico and Germany.
Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.
KFC’s blackberry lemonade is also returning for a limited time, though the restaurant didn’t say for how long.
