Dunkin’ brings back fan-favorite coffee not seen in 3 years and adds new doughnut
A Dunkin’ fan-favorite coffee was missing from the menu for nearly three years.
Now, it’s making a comeback.
The popular pink velvet macchiato will return to Dunkin’ on Wednesday, Dec. 27, alongside the pancake wake-up wrap, according to a news release.
Both are scheduled to roll out on the restaurant’s winter menu — featuring a new red velvet doughnut topped with vanilla frosting and cream cheese-flavored sprinkles, Dunkin’ said.
A white hazelnut bark coffee, with notes of white chocolate and hazelnut, will also debut.
Known for its rosy hue, the pink velvet macchiato first landed on menus in January 2020 and quickly amassed a loyal following. The pink drink typically appears around Valentine’s Day and is layered with “espresso, red velvet cake flavor and notes of cream cheese frosting,” according to a product description.
Customers can get it hot or iced before it leaves menus in February.
Ahead of its anticipated return, fans begged Dunkin’ to bring back the popular drink.
Other items coming to Dunkin’s winter menu include:
- Sweet black pepper seasoned bacon sandwich
- Snackin’ bacon
