An 11-year-old boy was surprised with a trip to Broadway from Delta after his videos performing musical numbers went viral.

Samantha Sophia first posted a video of her son, Nathan, in the car singing along to different songs from musicals on TikTok.

Nathan’s backseat performances are something to behold, the videos show. He lip-syncs passionately at times, grabbing the seat rest in front of him and contorting his face into the perfect expressions for the songs.

A few of his renditions include ”Wait For It” from the musical Hamilton, “Bruce” from Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical and more.

In addition to getting attention on TikTok, his love for theater also caught a few celebrities’ eyes on Twitter.

Leslie Odom Jr., who played Aaron Burr in Hamilton, applauded Nathan.

“Young brother is far more committed than I even dreamt of being at his age. This is conviction! And I love to see it. On this trajectory, he’ll eclipse me in no time,” Odom Jr. said.

Bebe Neuwirth, who acted in hit TV shows like Frasier and Cheers, called Nathan’s performance “fantastic.”

Delta agreed.

Sophia told her viewers the commercial airline reached out and is sending the family and Nathan to his first Broadway musical in New York City.

Nathan and his family live in Orange County, California, People Magazine reported.

“When you’re made for the stage, there’s no better place to see your dreams than NYC,” Delta replied to her announcement on Twitter.

Playwright Jeremy O. Harris was one of many in the musical scene to welcome Nathan as the family planned their trip to New York, offering to get Nathan tickets to any shows he was interested in seeing.

After all the love poured in online, Sophia posted Nathan’s tearful reaction on TikTok and said on Twitter he was both flattered and humbled by the support.

“He is so thankful for everyone’s kind words and encouragement,” Sophia said on TikTok. “This year he want to get voice lessons and dance lessons and get even more serious about musical theater.”
