Landscapers nearly crushed by falling tree while driving down Michigan road, photos show
A pair of tree service workers were nearly crushed when a large oak tree fell onto their truck as they drove by, Michigan photos show.
Michigan State Police shared photos from the scene in Groveland Township on Wednesday, May 25.
The oak, which appears to have already been at least partially cut, collapsed onto the cabin of the Paul’s Tree Care truck while the workers were inside, police said.
Despite the tree landing so close to where the workers were sitting, neither the driver nor the passenger was hurt.
Authorities temporarily closed the road, and the tree trimming company brought out a crane to remove the oak tree, according to police.
Officials did not say what caused the tree to fall.
Groveland Township is about 50 miles northwest of Detroit.
