Would this house for sale in Pennsylvania for $175,000 make an ‘awesome escape room’?
A wild, and a little bit confusing, four-bedroom, three-bathroom house in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, has gone up for sale, asking for $175,000.
The residence was a former art studio, which reflects in its carefree interior, and appears larger than its 1,481 square feet — at least when glancing over the prismatic photos.
Features in the house, according to the listing on Zillow.com, include:
Large front patio
Extra storage closets
Hardwood floors
Expanded kitchen
Sunroom
Basement with a full bathroom
The whimsical property was highlighted on the popular Facebook page Zillow Gone Wild as fans voiced their thoughts on the interior.
“It looks huge and at a good price. I like it!” one person said.
“Not bad. This is probably the first house on this page that hasn’t caused me to roll my eyes once,” another fan commented. “Knowing it was an art studio changes how I treat it.”
“I can’t imagine how much time and money it would take to undo all the whatever-the-heck-that-is that they’ve done but it could really be a cool space,” one person said.
“This place is magical,” another observed.
“Super cool. Tbh, giving credit to the artist for ingenuity,” one person observed. “Artists make no money, they used recycled products & made something unique. I may not like every single choice, but I love the overall house. Quirky, artistic and fun.”
“I’m a photographer. 200% would live here and not change a thing,” another remarked.
“Would make an awesome escape room house, the possibilities are endless,” one person said.
Upper Darby is about 6 miles west of Philadelphia.
