This couple is wanted by Georgia police for attacking restaurateur, daughter over cold chicken
Georgia police are searching for a couple wanted for brutally attacking a restaurant owner and her daughter at a restaurant in Baxley, Ga.
The June 22 attack at Qwik Chik was captured on video, which shows two suspects attacking Jeanette Norris, Qwik Chik owner, and her 15-year-old daughter.
Norris suffered a broken nose in the incident. Both victims suffered bruises and black eyes.
Georgia media reported the couple was angry at the restaurant owner because their order had “cold chicken and not enough fries”.
Police have been on the hunt for Nathaniel Eric Smith and Latasha M. Smith since Saturday. The suspects are subjects of active warrants for aggravated battery and cruelty to children charges.
The Smiths were regulars at the restaurant, but their recent behavior had become erratic, according to Baxley police, which also told media they should be considered dangerous and have a tendency toward violence.
The suspects left the restaurant in a cream or silver 2007 Cadillac Escalade with Georgia license plate REU8495. Police said there are two other vehicles they might have access to, a silver 2004 Cadillac DeVille 4S with Georgia plate PVK5483 and a green 1996 Cadillac DeVille 4S with Georgia plate BXQ1673.
If you have any information on the suspects, call Baxley police at 912-367-8305.
