Floridians capture man’s tug-of-war with 9-foot pool gator on video

3A Florida man's duel with a 9-foot alligator that decided to spend the night in his swimming pool is worth a look.

According to a post on website BroBible.com , Lakeland, Fla., resident Craig Lear saw bubbles in his pool around 5:30 p.m. March 2 and went to investigate.

What he thought might be a badly hit golf ball turned out to be a gator.

He lassoed it with some rope and then pulled it out, very much against the animal's will.
