Westbound Bluffton Parkway flyover bridge briefly closed Tuesday

The westbound bridge of the Bluffton Parkway flyover will be closed today until 3 p.m.

The announcement was made on the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Management Twitter page at 2 p.m.

The closures allow guard rails and crash cushions to be installed.

The bridge will also be closed Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to a R. R. Dawson Bridge Company news release.

Drivers should expect delays.
