Hilton Head lane closures tonight, Tuesday

Drivers can expect temporary night-time lane closures Monday and Tuesday at the intersection of Pope Avenue and New Orleans Road and Office Park Road on Hilton Head Island.

The lane closures will occur between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. while drilling crews complete work for new traffic signal poles and pavement testing cores.

There will also be temporary night-time traffic interruptions at Pope and Lagoon Road and South Forest Beach Drive near Coligny Circle on Monday for similar work.

Signs, traffic control devices and flaggers will control traffic.
