Rincon man identified as victim of Jasper County SC 119 crash

A Rincon man was named Monday as the victim in a deadly crash in which he lost control of his vehicle as he attempted to pass another vehicle in Jasper County and struck a tree.

Jasper County Coroner Martin Sauls II said Bryan Wilson, 60, died at the scene of the Sunday crash on SC 119 that happened around 5:20 p.m.

Wilson was driving an Infinity south when he lost control and drove off the left side of the road, where the vehicle struck a tree, according to Lance Cpl. Judd Jones of the SC Highway Patrol.

The incident is under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
