How badly do Bluffton drivers rate in SC?

Bluffton drivers are some of the worst in South Carolina.

A consumer ratings company, ConsumerAffairs, recently came to that conclusion after a studying data from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Fatality Analysis Reporting System.

Out of 36 cities and towns surveyed, Bluffton was ranked 32nd in terms of bad driving.

The study took into account crash-related deaths, speeding, DUI arrests, and incidents of distracted driving.

ConsumerAffairs built an interactive map, which allows users to compare cities and towns.

If you’re a Bluffton driver and feeling bad about being ranked the fifth worst in the state, take solace in the fact that nearby Hardeeville fared even worse in the survey.

Hardeeville, the closest municipality to Bluffton included in the survey, is home to the third worst drivers in the state, according to ConsumerAffairs.

The tiny town of Pelion has the worst drivers in the state, while Maudlin is home to the best, the survey determined.
