Portion of Bluffton Parkway closed today for contruction

Bluffton Parkway will close for construction of new safety elements from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today.

The road will be closed eastbound from S.C. 170 to River Ridge Drive.

Drivers should use U.S. 278 or S.C. 46 as an alternate route during that time, according to a Beaufort County release.

The county will activate the Highway Advisory Radio System in the area to broadcast messages to motorists regarding the closure.
